Goeun Lee Everett

Goeun was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. In 2007, she moved to Los Angeles to begin pursuing her career in sound design. Her first projects include working on independent films created for American Film Institute’s program: “Directing Workshops for Women.” Her talent and dedication led her to work with award-winning directors such as: David Ayer, Michael Bay, Alfonso Cuarón, and Alejandro González Iñárritu. Goeun’s work on the Academy Award-winning feature “Birdman” earned an MPSE Golden Reel nomination in the “Excellent Sound Effects and Foley Editing” category.

In 2013, Goeun joined Warner Brothers Game Audio and has been working on various AAA video game titles such as: “Halo 5: Guardians,” “Mortal Kombat 11,” and “Apex Legends.” In 2016, “Halo 5” was awarded an MPSE Golden Reel Award for “Best Sound Editing in Computer Interactive Entertainment” category.

In 2019, Goeun won a Daytime Emmy award for “Vampirina” – Outstanding Sound Editing for a Preschool Animated Program. Her most recent work is showcased in: “6 Underground,” “Sonic the Hedgehog,” “Godzilla vs. Kong,” and “Jungle Cruise.”

Goeun enjoys collaborating with other creatives and is happiest when she makes sounds that inspire people.
